From a tiny trailer on the Tyne

Magpye began in 2019, when we, Chris & Sarah, could not find the kind of pies we wanted to eat.

Our first pies were served from a converted trailer on Newcastle’s Quayside, with the Tyne in the background and a battered old oven behind us.

During lockdown we pivoted to an online pie shop and discovered there were thousands of people across the UK who wanted the same thing.

Magpye is run by a small team who do everything from making pastry to packing boxes and answering your emails.
