Magpye began our plant powered pie journey serving luxurious pie, mash and mushy peas on the banks of the River Tyne from our converted horsebox.
Magpye was soon delivering our delicious range of pies directly to the homes of people in the North East, quickly growing the delivery area to cover most of the UK.
We make all of our pastry, plant 'meats' and fillings completely from scratch in our vegan pie kitchen, taking inspiration from traditional techniques and recipes to create the ultimate vegan comfort food.
We use only 100% vegan ingredients and all of our flour is organic and milled in the UK. Our veg is sourced locally and we source our other ingredients and products from co-operative, ethical suppliers and use plant based, compostable packaging.
Our vegan butter, used in our unique shortcrust pastry, is made with certified organic coconut oil and highest quality cold pressed rapeseed oil, all Magpye products are free of any palm oil.
